Skullflower Trivet and Coasters

Elegant yet edgy. This set of five skull coasters nests in a flower, a fun and decorative trivet for hot dishes and introspective tea time.

This piece was inspired by the efforts of those who've gone before - I was struck by the thought of how many lifetimes of work were invested in the tools I have in the shop, and use daily.  It's amazing to have the tools I do!  And I'm so grateful.  The flower of creativity, the souls of craftspeople past, we stand on the shoulders of giants.
